Hell Resources

The counter-part of heaven is hell. Hell can be considered as a divine punishment of those who refuse the salvation of God, which was so costly to God. But hell needs to be rethought, perhaps. All blessings flow from God. Everything good, pleasant, or comfortable. When a person refuses God’s salvation, he is essentially telling God to not interfere with his life. This is ridiculous because God created that person and the world that he lives in, as well as giving that person life and sustaining that person. But that refusal of God is exactly what God gives that person when He sends that person to hell. In Luke 16, the rich man wanted just a drop of water to ease his pain. That is mercy, pertaining to God, and the unsaved didn’t want that in life, so God gives them what they decided in life. The horrors of hell are unbelievable, but few authors really focus on the worst horror of all, no mercy from God, not even the ability to ask God for something.
