Notes 6/26/2025

I recently downloaded theWord version 7. So a new feature of this version is that it checks for duplicate modules (checking the tw ID in Module Properties) and also if any modules just do not have a theWord ID.

So it is very bothersome to me every time I open theWord to have these popups to deal with before you get into the program. But unfortunately, a lot of our modules are without their theWord IDs, so I am working through all modules and making unique IDs so you don’t have to do so.

Since I don’t really have anyway of marking them on this website, I am renaming the actual file to having a “v” plus a number after that “v”. If the file already has a v#, I will move it up one. If it doesn’t, then I will add it. Note that this may affect a lot of people, so just download the newest version number, and delete or archive your old files in case you want to go back and look at them.

I am also filling out a lot of the Module Properties fields while I am doing this. This will not affect very many people.

I am playing around with AI summarizer software and websites. That is definitely the direct I am wanting to go. So, for the technically inclined, I am putting a AI Summary of the work in the “About” field in the Module Properties. For the not so technically inclined, when you mouse over a work on the module selection bar, you see a little bit of the information in the Module Properties. With the modules that I am able to get a summary for, you should also see that summary by just mousing over (rolling over) the module in the module selector bar. This will allow you to see a little more information about the work before you actually open that work.

So you should be seeing a lot of the modules having the “v1” before the .gbk.twm part of the filename, so you now know what is going on.
